Clonal Queen tea is generally harvested in 2nd flush just before the rains begin to pour. In many tea producing countries, the 2nd flush is considered the best due to a balance of Golden Orange Liquor and smoky roasted aroma. It is harvested from Clones of the original china bushes planted by the British in the late 1800’s.
